There are 2 types of marine licences that are issued by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), The Private Port Radio Licence (MARINA) and the ship radio station licence. The ship radio station licence falls under 3 categories:

  1. Private Pleasure Craft
  2. Cargo, Freight or working vessel (Category B) i.e. vessels under 400 gross tonnage.
