A class licence is issued to anyone wishing to operate a short range, low power radiocommunications data transmission device, operating in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical Bands (ISM). There is a one-time administrative fee of five dollar ($5.00) for the licence. Further information on these licences can be found in Section 2 of the Telecommunications Act, 1999.
