AM and FM Broadcast Spectrum Licences

An AM and/or FM Broadcast Spectrum Licence is issued to anyone who has first been granted an AM and/or FM Broadcasting Licence from the proper licencing authority within the Government of The Bahamas. The spectrum licence allows one to operate on a specific radio frequency within the confines of outlined parameters as would be stated on both the Broadcasting Licence and also the Spectrum Licence. In the case of FM broadcasting, there have only been two categories of licences issued, one that is island specific and the other a national licence. Annual fee for this licence is $500.

A listing of all licenced AM and FM Broadcasting Operators within the Commonwealth of The Bahamas can be viewed by clicking here.
